SUBSCRIBE!!! Lakeland, FL Santa Fe Catholic High School Field 57°F Windy Once again the Brooksville Bulldogs have won another tournament via annihilation. Yesterday we almost lost to this team 5-4 but today we blow theme out of the water. This is sort of the enigma of baseball. Some days you are on and others you are off. Or is this purposely drop to the loser’s bracket to sweep mode. If that is the case then we don’t grow as a team and challenge ourselves. On the other hand we did win and instead of metals or reward was batting helmets. Thank you USSSA that is definitely not a pointless trophy that is going to dangle from our door. Umpire Rating 4/5 – They did fairly well but once again this game wasn’t close. If you have any feedback contact me via YouTube or Twitter. Baseball is one of the more popular sports in the United States with close to 20 million children playing each year. While playing baseball is a great way for children to exercise and stay active, it’s important to keep in mind that injuries can and do occur in this sport. Every day during the youth baseball season, almost 850 children younger than 18 years of age are treated in US hospital emergency departments for baseball-related injuries. Taking a few precautions can help reduce the chance of injury and help everyone enjoy this national pas¬time. Use reduced-impact safety baseballs, which are softer than regular baseballs, during practices, games, and while playing baseball at home. Install breakaway safety bases on all baseball fields used by youth leagues. This includes baseball fields in public parks and schools. Have batters wear helmets equipped with face shields during both youth league play and while playing at home. Consider requiring the pitcher and all infielders to wear helmets with face shields. While not currently a common practice, recent research has led safety experts to strongly recommend this practice. The numbers and severity of head and face injuries to youth baseball players would be drastically reduced if this practice were more widespread. At a minimum, all children engaged in baseball-related activity should wear a properly fitted mouth guard and eye protection.
We decided to test how well the helmets at walmart are while the manager is just around the corner, its alright, my friend works there
