This is Jaime Cevallos in 2002 in the midst of learning about the baseball swing. Now Cevallos is known for his revolutionary method of helping hitters improve their hitting measurably and quickly. Five years after this video was shot, Cevallos designed the MP30 Training Bat and began working independently with Major League players on his method called that he called Positional Hitting. His students began to refer to him as “The Swing Mechanic” and the name stuck. Cevallos is currently the owner of The Swing Mechanic Company, Inventor of the MP30 Training Bat, and author of Positional Hitting – The Modern Approach To Analyzing And Training Your Swing.
